Method 1. Using Troubleshooting Tool
 
Step 1. Download connectivity Tool 
Press Windows + R then type services.msc in the search box 
Find QBPOS Database Manager v XX for the list 
Click on Stop note, followed by right click on services 
Click Start if the status is STOP
Restart the Computer 
Note: Now time to Create a Company file 
1 Press the Windows button and click on the Computer window to open it
2 Go to navigate to the location: and type C:\Users\Public\Documents\Intuit\QuickBooks Point of Sale v XX 
3 Click on Data folder and select Copy
4 Make a right-click any on your desktop and choose Paste
 
Download QBPOS Troubleshoot Connection Tool 
After downloading the tool, Install and Run the Tool 
 
Step 2. If Windows Regional Settings is not correct
1. Click on Regional and Language Settings 
2. Change your Language as English, if already English is selected then press Apply then OK
3. Open Point of Sale now and check for the issue 
 
Method 2. Change the File Name 
1. Click on Services Windows then turn off QBPOS Database Manager service 
Press Windows + R and type Services.msc and OK
Search for the option and click OK when you find it 
2. Type Go to C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\Intuit\QuickBooks Point of Sale (version)\Data and hit enter
3. Find the folder and right-click to Rename 
4. Add X before the company name and click on OK
5. Back to Services Window, click on QBPOS Database Manager then Start
6. Open QB point of sale and the renamed company file 
 
Method 3. Change the Settings of Server Database Manager 

1. Open server and close QuickBooks Point of Sale
2. Click on the Windows Start button, type services.MSC then hit Enter.
3. Click on the version of the QBPOS Database Manager you're working on
4. Go to the General tab, click on Automatic
5. Click on Log on Tab, select Local System Account and Allow service to interact with desktop.
6. Press Apply, back to the General tab.
7. Click on Stop
8. Let once stop the Database manager 
9. Click Start then Ok 
10. Open QuickBooks Point of Sale 

Method 4. Rename the WS Activity Files

1. Find the folder where the file is saved or located 
2. Click on the File name and rename it as OLD WS Activity
3. Now click on your QB POS application and open it
