Why Lancashire Tops Food Charts and Country Pubs

Lancashire is a place that is adored by all, young or old alike. There is something for everyone and if one is a foodie, then he or she would certainly be delighted to pay visit to this beautiful city. There are a whole lot of restaurants and country pubs that offer food to spoil your appetite. A lot of food items have made a mark in the city and the city, in turn, has earned the tag of a food place. Some really tasty dishes that are meant to whet your appetite are what each of the restaurants offer in the city. But forget the city, let us talk country.

The first thing is that is the city of Lancashire even a city or is it a county? There we go wrong; it is a county for sure but having such quality places to hang out and drink ale is something that is usually associated with cities and not counties. Not only restaurants but even local pubs keep this ever-popular dish for customers.

The region has also a lot of Michelin starred restaurants that have recipes to die for, not only because they are tasty but because they are equally expensive. For the newbie, country pubs are different from the regular disco pubs or the bars we find in the city. In fact, a pub here is more than just a place to have drinks. Some pubs are situated in castles and mansions where an atmosphere is created to make the ambience more comfortable so that people actually enjoy their stay in the pub. This is important because the pubs that stand here today were meant for people to hang out and have a good time. This was the original idea of arranging for a pub; however, the idea has completely changed in the modern world.
