Why is it necessary to postpone the NEET UG 2022 exam?

When it comes to medical aspirants, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test [NEET] is very important. These days medical aspirants are looking forward eagerly to the exact dates for the NEET examination. For around more than one month the students are demanding to postpone the NEET examination. There have been formal letters sent to the education minister Dharmendra Pradhan and other exam conducting officials to postpone the exams.

Although it is not easier to postpone the reputable exams in India like NEET, the reasons for the demand for NEET exams have some important reasons. NTA is considering all the aspects related to the demand for the postponement of the NEET exams. It will much interesting to look at the points why there is an increasing demand for the postponement of the 2022 NEET exams this year.

 

What are the reasons for the demand of postponing the 2022 NEET exams?

Although everybody knows, that it is not that straightforward to extend the 2022 NEET exams, there are some obvious reasons which are responsible for the demand of postponing the exams.

Here are some reasons for postponing the 2022 NEET exams:

1. Don’t have time for exam preparation

The recent pandemic and the confusion created last years did not give enough time for the NEET exam aspirants the preparation. The lesser time frame for the exam preparation is experienced by all the students which can affect their performance.

 

2. More chance for other exams

Some students feel that there are more concessions for other exams like JEE which are held twice a year, then why only one chance and stringent exam dates for NEET. There are occasions where other important exam dates were extended due to uneven circumstances, so the same must be considered for the other exams.

 

3. Delay in the counseling

The counselling date delayed was not the mistake of the students anyway. It was due to the lapse in the system conducting the examination, so why the students must suffer for it.

 

4. Lot of uncertainty throughout the year

The pandemic and lockdown experienced during the whole year laid to a lot of confusion among the students. There were a lot of delays in the different processes of the medical entrance test that further caused hindrances for the 2022 NEET exams preparations. There was much of the delay about passing the information in the examination to the students which caused further uncertainty among the students.

 

These are some of the main reasons for the demand for postponing the 2022 NEET examination. Until now, none of the officials has taken any of the steps to break this jinx, so students must not believe in any of the sources of news, only official sources must be considered. A lot of discussions and demand are still going on, there is no such certainty about the exams. Remaining hopeful is the only way to look at this. Amidst all these, students are advised to continue their study preparation with full concentration.
