Why does a new Restaurant need a One of a Kind Interior Design?

by Kunal Joshi content writing

While serving great food is the primary concern while opening a new restaurant, it is a fact that patrons do not just go into a restaurant simply to enjoy the food. Fine dining restaurants are as much about creating the right ambience as they are about unique dishes and drinks. You can have the choicest dishes served in your restaurants, cooked with meticulous precision, and with exotic ingredients shipped from all over the world and yet the patrons will not return as frequently as you wanted them to, if they do not feel comfortable in the ambience that you have created for them. Food is enjoyed the best when all the sensory organs come into play and that includes the sights and sounds that one takes in while eating one’s food. And with more and more restaurants opening in the city of Dubai, it has become important to stand out and beat the competition.

Hence, the restaurant interior design Dubai should be one where the patrons feel comfortable enough to enjoy their meal and spend time with their loved one. This is the first thing that a customer notices when they walk in through the doors and they want to be instantly put at ease. Considering that customers today have to put every little detail of their outing on social media, and there is a kind of unspoken obligation to look good in pictures, nothing sloppy will do as far as the décor is concerned, no matter how good the food is.

An ideal restaurant should have ample natural light which should flood the dining area during the daytime. This creates a vibrant and open ambience which is perfect for brunches with friends and lunches with family. Switch to innovative lighting as the sun goes down and depending on the mood the restaurant wants to create, it can be romantic, quirky or edgy. Great interiors go a long way when it comes to creating a brand image- these are the first pictures which are flashed across web portals and food blogs today. Creating an interior which then complements the food is an added plus- considering how it would be if there are galichas to recline on instead of the regular sofas when there is Mughlai or Persian food being served, with gazals in the background? Or maybe there are cabana styled seating arrangements at a place which serves sea food? Every other detail like the menu design, the outfit of the receptionist and the waiters, the table linen to the cutlery has to be perfectly synchronized to add to that experience.

The thing is that since interior design effects customer psychology, and one can induce them to relax, order more and keep coming back, just by giving them the ambience they want. Once they know they are somewhere where not many few people have been, they would keep coming back for more as the interiors alone can give the restaurant an executive status.
