Human race is designed naturally and has been developed by themselves in such a way that redundancy and stagnation is considered abysmal. Hence, the inherent need to keep discovering and accordingly changing. People keep a track of their changing self in so many ways, one of them is by traveling. No less than any other human desire, traveling is seen perhaps the only way humans have learned to live their lives. We, the humans, the migratory species have been moving in and out of our homes every day in search of something or the other that most of us have even ignored the idea how travel changes their life on daily basis. It’s not for earning the daily bread but quite a lot of times it helps you taste the life at its best too.

Talking of tasting the life, getting away is a way to think differently. As there is something liberating about travelling, going the distance, it helps you shed your inhibitions and help you imagine better and more creatively. It is at this point that it goes without saying, that travel reduces your stress. This doesn’t entail your regular travelling from home to workplace but the travelling you do to take a break from monotony. Hopping cities, countries, mountains, fields, riversides, beaches, monasteries, running out of pages in your passport, etc. gives you an incredible experience that nothing else can provide.

Traveling as a necessary escape also helps in getting out of your comfort zone and help you realize who you could be when you need to be. Meeting new people and experiencing the world is not a pursuit followed by everyone. However, people who travel know how to deal with people outside their friend circle. Most of the time, people end up making new friends across cultures, borders, ethnicity making this world a global village.

We travel also because we are bored of our ritualistic and regularized life. We inherently love to break free and therefore, regain enthusiasm for life, work life, even family life. We begin to look at ourselves differently, we start appreciating our homes. With the little or big adventures we have, we somewhere discover ourselves and feel better endowed to live the life we already were tired of. Traveling rejuvenates one from inside.

However long we travel, we still want to stay connected to people we can trust, exploration is a part of traveling. Long distances don’t matter when you learn and educate yourself about life outdoors, various people, their life styles, cultures, languages, sports, nature, make memories. Photography enthusiasts know exactly what is being talked about. We not only walk an extra mile with memories, we also consume them on so many levels. Local culture of a land far away from yours opens up the various other possibilities in life. Researches have concluded that experiencing travel and experiencing new cultures endows us with an open mindedness and giving us better approaches and perspectives and insight to look at things with various other meanings than one based on one’s convenience.

Traveling therefore, is not just out of one’s curiosity but is one’s necessity to unravel the mystic and hidden secrets of the world, the world unknown and the world around them.
