Why Body Function & Mobility is Critical in Your Life?

Almost everyone knows the importance of cardiovascular fitness and weight/strength training. However, in the fitness world, fewer people understand the importance of body function, flexibility & mobility. Just like any other physical activity, body mobility is also critical to health & wellness. It is a process for gaining more strength, expanding your range of motion while aging beautifully with better body function. 

  

Keeping the significance of body mobility in mind, this article is dedicated to a critical part of a healthy lifestyle, i.e body mobility, and its importance in our lives. 


What is Body Mobility?


In simple words, body mobility is our muscle's strength in the range of motion.


It means, when a person is capable of controlling his/her full range of motion of a body part without any assistance, it's his/her body's mobility.


A lot of people usually confuse mobility with flexibility. However, both are slightly different and are not interchangeable. A flexible person may not be healthy and needn't much strength or coordination to execute a movement. But on the other hand, the right level of mobility helps you to use your body's strength, balance, and coordination to perform any action without restriction. 


Why Is Mobility Critical?


  1. A healthy life is not a goal, it's a continuous process that involves a healthy diet, a healthy routine & regular physical activity for at least 30-40 minutes. Now, a healthy diet can be achieved by including a lot of green veggies and fruits and fiber into your diet. And the best way to crush your workouts day in and day out and get the perfect health is to involve mobility/flexibility exercises in your daily routine.
