In 2020, Australia not only just broke the records of solar installation across all the rooftop sectors but also solidified an outstanding position in the global solar market with the maximum per-capita capacity of around 810 watts per person.

Recently this year in 2021, Australia also created a record for installing 360,000 rooftop systems. It was also 40% more than 2020. In March 2021, its rooftop solar PV installations came to 256 MW, which was 1.2% more than 253 MW in February 2021. Day by day, Australia is making new records for the installation of the highest rooftop solar panels. The major reason behind the new records of rooftop solar volumes is the high popularity of solar products in the Australian market.
