Image Kitchen is considered to be one of the most important part of a house. For women of the house, it is as sacred as a temple. Hence, storage space is one of the most important things to consider when you design a kitchen. However, designing a kitchen is not an easy task. There are lots of factors to be kept in mind. Price is one of them and probably the most important as well. When we talk about buying components for your kitchen cabinets, a buyer has two options. One is to buy from a retailer in the market. There might be some differences in the price when you check with multiple retailers but mostly the difference is negligible. However, the other option is to buy the material directly from a Solid Wood Kitchen Cabinets Wholesale shop or manufacturer. Since a buyer eliminates the retailer here, he can save a good amount which ideally would go as retailer’s margin. Doesn’t it sound great? Well it does however, it is not as easy as it sounds. There are lots of things that a buyer needs to be aware of if he is obtaining the material from a manufacturer or a distributor. Let us look at those factors here:

1.    Quality of the Materials

When a buyer buys the material from a retailer, he has options to look into multiple qualities. Moreover, when a retailer sells a product, he is responsible for the entire quality of the product. If there are any damages to the product, he holds the full responsibility. If the quality is degraded, the buyer has all the rights to go back to the retailer and ask for an exchange. However, when he buys the material directly from the manufacturer, the buyer holds the full responsibility of the quality. He needs to properly understand the basics before buying. He would not have anyone to blame if he does not get the right product.

2.    Storage and Delivery Service

Usually the Wholesale Kitchen Cabinets deal with the materials in bulk. You cannot go to them and ask them to deliver them one by one or as per your requirement. After placing the order, the manufacturer will deliver all the materials to you within defined timeframe. Once the material is delivered, the buyer holds the full responsibility of storing the material. He also has to bear the cost of getting the materials delivered. Once they are delivered, the manufacturer cannot be blamed for any damages caused afterwards.

3.    Installation Facility

Most of the time, when materials are bought from a manufacturer, they are ready to be assembled. This poses one more headache for the buyer. He has to ensure that he has the facility available at home to assemble the cabinets. It may or may not be an easy task based on the facilities available to the buyer. He may have to hire a professional to do the job. Again, this is a cost that the buyer has to bear.

4.    Insurance

Buying cabinet from manufacturer does not provide any insurance against any damage as the delivery and other services are to be borne by the buyer. This factor must be carefully considered as well.

Looking at the above points, it is certainly an issue regarding cost saving to buy the cabinets directly from manufacturer. However, there are lots of factors to consider. It looks easy from outside but the buyer has to be sure that he has looked into all these factors and analysed it. Cost is not always a factor in the long run and one has to be very clear about it.
