This is probably the most in-depth professional biographical piece of material that I will have ever written to date.  This piece is to do just what my book, “A Page in History”, written in 2007, was designed to do; INSPIRE OTHERS TO DARE TO DO MORE.  In this piece I will tell you where I have been and where I am planning to go.  Hope you enjoy.

I was born in East Saint Louis, Illinois in 1973 to a loving mother and father who were subsequently murdered; my father in 1976 and my mother in 1981.  As a little girl growing up I faced many changes, challenges, and triumphs.  Having a mother who was an oil and gas heiress and a father who was a real estate tycoon, but seven brothers and sisters and myself being left penniless, I found that good fortune may not always fall on those whom you desire and that relationships are much more important.  I also developed a chameleon like knack for adaptation and a curiosity that lead to phenomenal learning experiences.

In 1996 I moved to Biloxi, MS to begin a new life at the age of twenty-one.  My first experiences were the cold crisp mornings and nights and the beautiful warm days of the Biloxi climate.  The next experiences included walking into the Biloxi Library on Main Street, which is no longer there thanks to Hurricane Katrina.  These experiences changed my life forever.  In the library I stumbled on a book that was on the subject of entrepreneurship.  Every since then I have stumbled and bumbled about trying to find my way to finally gaining the financial freedom that my parents once had, and that I dream to give to my children, grandchildren, and generations to come.

On January 1, 2007 I began a journey as a Business Development Specialist for “BEE BOUNDLESS”; though I did not know that this would be such an evolutionary journey at the time.  I wrote my first and only performance poetry piece a couple of months earlier and titled it “I Am A Poet”.  In that piece, which has received a couple of awards and many of compliments, I referred to my lack of educational degree or certifications; probably because the person who inspired me to write it was an organizational leader who was a college student at The University of Southern Mississippi.  I never dreamed at that time that I would have obtained an Associate of Arts Degree from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, even making Hall of Fame, neither did I dream that I would be attending The University of Southern Mississippi myself.

I began my educational career in September of 2010 with a goal of obtaining my Associate of Arts Degree; which evolved into dreams of earning a Ph.D. in Human Capital Development from The University of Southern Mississippi.  Since I began working on my goal of becoming educated, I have had phenomenal opportunities and experiences that I will list in this piece for informational purposes; after all how can you know what I may be capable of, if you have no idea of what I have experienced?  Why do I want you to know this?  Because just as I became inspired by an invitation to write and perform a poetry piece that set an extreme evolution into motion; I believe that no matter where you are personally or financially, WE ARE ALL HARDWIRED TO BE LIFE-LONG LEARNERS.

These are some of the projects that I have worked on.
