Here at Weatherspoon Automotive Inc, we see plenty of radiator problems. To help all our readers and regular followers keep their luxurious car in top condition, present you with the most common problem that our clients encounter. The radiator is one of the parts on a car that is responsible for keeping the engine cool. As hot coolant passes through the radiator, it is cooled down by metal fins. When the radiator starts to show signs of breaking down, you should have it inspected right away. What exactly are signs that your radiator is breaking down though?

If your car’s heat gauge on the dashboard starts to rise beyond its normal operating level, you should take your car in immediately.  Normally, this gauge will not move until an issue has already started to become severe. A radiator malfunction could very well be the cause of this.

Many people discover radiator problems because their car starts to smoke as they are driving down the highway. If you too face a similar issue, you should pull over to the side of the road and let the car cool down. The last thing you want to happen is for the car to catch on fire, while you are driving. More than likely this smoke is being caused because the radiator isn’t functioning properly.

When you look beneath your car, all of your parts will appear to have a small amount of rust on them. Should you notice a large amount of rust on your radiator, it could be the sign of a developing problem. Rust could indicate that the parts are starting to break down and the radiator wall could fail, causing a coolant spill that can damage the engine.

You should frequently check all of the fluids in your car. The radiator fluid isn’t always a fluid that most people think to check, but it is one of the most prominent reason that there is something wrong with your radiator. A brown mess inside the coolant tank could indicate that there is something wrong with the car.

Should you have any of these symptoms with your car you should head on over to your nearest auto car repair, so that the mechanic can take a look at your radiator. The last thing you want is your car to be damaged permanently and a visit to a mechanic can help you prevent that. Often the mechanic will be able to diagnose the radiator and resolve any issue quickly and be able to get you an estimate rapidly. We understand how much your car means to you and want you to get back on the road in no time; without any problem while you are enjoying your ride.
