Image The biggest question in students mind appearing for GRE is what is that good score that will help them get admission in their desired university.Counselors at GRE Dubai advise students to take a look at minimum requirements at any schools they intend to apply before deciding GRE score goal.For students who are appearing for GRE for the first time, here are few things to know:

The GRE score is presented in the range of 130- 170 scores for each section. The GRE Tests reports three different scores –

•    Verbal Reasoning –130 to 170 scorein 1 increments
•    Quantitative Reasoning -130 to 170 scorein 1 increments
•    Analytical writing – 0 to 6 score in half point increments
Since GRE Tests have few scores, answering one question right or wrong can make a big difference on your final score in each section.

Top scores
Top rank amongst the top 10% of GRE Test Takers, you will need to get following GRE scores:
•    Verbal Reasoning -score above163
•    Quantitative Reasoning – score above 165
•    Analytical writing – score above 5

Competitive Scores
The following scores will put you in top 25% of GRE Test Takers. It will put you at a competitive position in most top colleges:
1.    Verbal Reasoning -158 score and above
2.    Quantitative Reasoning –159 score and above
3.    Analytical writing –4.5 score and above

Good Scores
If you get the scores mentioned below, you will rank amongst the top 50% of GRE Test Takers. Though considered good enough, counselors at GRE Dubaisay these scores will not put you at an advantageous position for admission in highly competitive programs
1.    Verbal Reasoning -152 score and above
2.    Quantitative Reasoning –153 score and above
3.    Analytical writing –4 score and above
