What to plan for your first date?

by Stephan Fleming Digital Marketing Expert

Nervous about planning your first date? Read on to find out all that you can do to make sure it’s a success.

·         Pick a convenient location

The first thing to keep in mind is to pick a centralized location that is convenient for the both of you. Make sure it is closer to her and the vicinity is known. Not everyone is comfortable going with strangers to an unknown spot. That could go wrong in a couple of ways, especially if she is the over-cautious type. It’s better to play safe with a known and nearby location to save time

·         Take her preferences into consideration

Take her preferences, likes, dislikes into consideration while planning. An outdoorsy person will not enjoy something too simple done at home. Similarly, an introvert will definitely not like being pulled out of her comfort zone on the first date itself. So decide accordingly after you get a fair idea of the kind of person they are. If you plan to date a Ukrainian woman, you will definitely have to keep this point in mind as they can be feisty and quite choosy about dates.

·         Choose an activity that leaves room for talking

Avoid loud and noisy places like pubs, music festivals or other crowded places where talking will be a problem. Your first date needs to have a lot more conversation than activity so pick a spot and an activity that leaves room for talking. Focusing on the activity and not enough talking will leave you feeling like you didn’t really give any time or attention to the person as was supposed to be the purpose. It doesn’t have to be boring but the focus needs to be on talking.

·         Keep it affordable

Do not plan something too extravagant. For starters, you will burn a hole in your pocket. Secondly, if the date does not go well, it will leave the other person feeling awkward and embarrassed that you spent so much on a futile attempt. Avoid that situation for the both of you and keep the budget reasonable.

A few date ideas you can try out

·         Create a picnic

If your date is from Ukraine dating site, then you would definitely need time to get to know them properly. This is a classic and loved by all. Create your own little picnic in a park or lawn. Stop by a grocery store and shop for items to eat together. That way you have already included an activity – shopping, and will also have a lot of time to talk and get to know each other better. So it’s a win-win.

·         Visit a pet club

Pet clubs are really common these days. They are places of relaxation where you get to play with and cuddle with cats and dogs. If they love animals, then they will surely appreciate this adorable date with furballs.

·         Cook together and have a simple dinner date at home with soft music and dancing

If they are shy, introvert and don’t really like going out much, you could plan a simple homely date. To make it interesting, cook together. This will give you more time and something to do. Also, it’s safer since it won’t give an impression that you just wanted to jump in bed with them.

·         Go boating

Boating is another nice and cozy option. You and your date out on the silent waters with the cool breeze flowing, makes the perfect recipe for a first date.

·         Do activities together

You could also go for an activity together, depending on their interests. Activities like pottery, ceramic painting, dancing, karaoke, etc. have single sessions that you can book and enjoy with them as you get to know each other better while bringing out your creative side.

Final thoughts

What’s important is to be there not just physically but mentally too. Listening attentively, taking interest, etc. will ensure that your date goes well. So follow our tips and all the best!
