Broadcast journalism refers to any journalism or reporting which happens across broadcast means such as radio and television. Broadcast journalism uses electronic equipment to deliver news throughout the world.

Radio, television, and the internet, as well as social media, are all examples of media and broadcast journalism. Broadcast journalism is more accessible and efficient than traditional forms of journalism such as magazines, print media, and newspapers. Television and radio broadcasts are less formal than the conventional ways of print media and are primarily intended to disseminate news throughout the world to a diverse range of people speaking a variety of languages. This internet-broadcast news keeps people up to date on events as they happen. This may be accomplished through social media articles and other means.

Broadcast journalism focuses on teaching us how to handle our communications in front of the mainstream press, how to manage an organization's or company's reputation in front of the media, and how to communicate directly with the audience, understanding their behavior, interests, and reviews, and developing a strategy based on their audience.
