What kind of person is a true leader?

by Seth Rhodes Blogger
What kind of person do you think of as a “leader”?

Some people just give instructions, others are chores or do small jobs because they are leaders. I think there is a leader image that comes to mind.

How should the leader be in the organization? What kind of framework did excellent leaders use to create the organization? In this article, I would like to think about the ideal leader image from the leader who has moved the world.
In the first place, what should be a leader

Since I was a student, I have been wondering about the first position to be a leader when doing something on a team. That's because I think the leader should be someone who stands on top of someone and directs the team members in one direction, not the person who directs them. I don't know what that person is from the beginning, and I think it's strange to decide on a leader. However, the person who directs by power is not a leader, but a dictator.

But many people seem to confuse the meaning of leader and dictator. Probably because the role of leader is often highly regarded in the world, there are many who use power to direct people.

I think that ability is more skill than power to move people. An excellent leader is working harder than anyone and producing results. Rather than just instructing, it is a person who can bring out the initiative of the members and lead them in one direction.

What is golden circle theory?

So how have the leaders who are said to have historically moved the world led people?

Steve Jobs founded Apple. Wright brothers who developed the airplane. Martin Luther King who taught the citizenship movement. Not only the three great leaders, but those who had some kind of movement in the world had a common way of thinking, acting and communicating. And the common behavior pattern was named "Golden Circle Theory" by Simon Sinec, an organizational consultant and writer.

What kind of theory is the golden circle theory?

When explaining something to a person, we generally explain what (what to do), how (how to do), and why (why to do). But they are different. Tell why (why), how to do it (How), and finally what to do (what). Even if we convey the same content, just changing the order will unconsciously move and act on what the person does rather than what he does.

A good leader is one who encourages the members' voluntary behavior and leads in one direction. I think that it is a person who can lead not only members but also stakeholders (stakeholders).
Finally

The term “leader”, which is easy to use, is really confusing, and the way of understanding the meaning varies depending on the person. Think about the definition of leader you think of as an organization.
