What Is The Red Shirt Friday

You see over this past weekend, the traffic exchange industry came together and put on an event called Surfing 4 The Troops and let me tell you I was so proud of all these site owners and how they worked together to bring awareness to something that is dear to my heart.
I'm not going into all the details hear and repeat myself as you can read my blog post here about the event and how come this article is being written now. Read about Surfing 4 The Troops here now - just click here
As you go thru life, you learn that you may agree or not agree with things but you can still show your support and say thank you to the people that make it possible for you to have that freedom. I have learned over time it's most of the time it's the little things that a person does that they remember more and mean the most AND most of the time it don't cost lot of money to do.
After losing my 2nd mom, I cherish all the memories that I have of her and most of those memories are not big expensive gifts, trips, etc. they are many, many, memories of TIME we share together - TIME we laughed together - TIME we cried together - TIME we listened to music together - TIME we watch old movies together - TIME we just listened to each other troubles.
Well let me tell you here is your chance to do something that simple - no matter where you believe in the war or don't - it don't matter - THE KEY is that we have men and women that are serving all over the world for US - for our family - for our freedom to YOU to sit here and read this post.
You are wondering what you can do - what you can do is simple - wear a red shirt every Friday - tell everyone that you know till all you see is red shirts all over on Fridays. AND you know what that red shirt means - Thank you
If you are one of those people that don't wear red, don't have a red shirt - then go down to your local Goodwill store and get one - it don't have to be fancy, just has to be red - how simple is that.
Go to this blog and read about What Is The Red Shirt Friday and see you Friday with your Red Shirt

I was very honored to be a part of this HUGE Event. It was great to see so many forces coming together to raise awareness for one cause- supporting the men and women who serve their country.
Nothing political - just support for other human beings who risk their lives to bring us the freedom we take for granted.

Nancy, I regret I didn't see the notice in time and missed out on it.... But I will be very happy to wear a red shirt on Fridays! I agree with you wholeheartedly on everything, especially the part of not having to agree or disagree but to pay more attention on the cause. And the time we spend with loved ones is what brings about our good memories and those last a lifetime. An excellent post!
