In a few circumstances, you may be asked for to give log documents with a specific end goal to explore and resolve your issue. Most asked for logs can be found under the Help menu in Quicken, in an area named Log Files. This article gives the area on your PC where these records can be found outside of Quicken in case you're not ready to get to this menu.

NOTE: Show Hidden Files and Folders

Before endeavoring to find refresh, introduce, fix or other Quicken Windows logs, you may need to alter your Windows framework "View" preference(s) before you can discover those records:

Pick Computer.

Go to the Organize menu at the highest point of the screen.

Select Folder and Search Options.

Go to the View tab.

Select Show Hidden Files, Folder and Drives, if it's not effectively chosen.

Snap OK.

Close the Computer window.

Windows 10

Tap the Windows Start symbol.

Pick File Explorer.

Go to the View tab and tap on Options.

Select Changes Folder and inquiry alternatives.

Go to the View tab.

Getting ready to Collect Quicken Logs

Make another envelope on the Desktop

Right-click a clear space on the desktop.

Select New > Folder.

Name the Folder <your name> Logs (illustration: JSmith Logs).

In the wake of sparing the logs to this new envelope, set up the organizer for connection or transfer

Right-tap the new envelope.

Pick Send To > (compressed) organizer.

OFX and Connlog

Utilized for web based saving money blunder accelerations, these logs are a couple. It would be ideal if you take note of that the OFX Log must be opened in the OFX Viewer inside Quicken (under the Help > Log Files menu) and can't be given from whatever another area.

Connlog will be found in C:\Users\your client name\AppData\Roaming\Intuit\Quicken\Log

Cloud Sync Log

New to Quicken Windows, beginning in 2013 R6, the Cloud Sync log has been added to the Help > Log Files menu. This encoded log, similar to the OFX Log, must be opened inside Quicken.

Refresh and Install logs

C:\ProgramData\Intuit\Quicken\Log\installer and open the envelope with the latest date as a major aspect of the organizer name (ex: 20150108_152931) to discover install.log and update.log
