What is fashion to me?

Like entertainment and the media, the fashion industry is also unfolding across the various networks. It is getting an audience and different levels of taste. The presence of the audience, their enthusiasm, and acknowledgment of the fashion matters. Most people want to understand the experience of fashion without appreciating what is making fashion interesting or new.

Fashion does not mean that people should wear the same outfits. What if you think of making the world wear what you wear? You can always have your style. There is a misconception that fashion is for the slim. The fashion industry has discovered that not all people have the perfect body. So, designers have designed clothes that can fit everyone. This is good news for those who wear large sizes.

Several new trends have emerged in the market these days. There are innovations, textiles, and fabrics. When we look at the leggings, they have the same texture but different fabrics. The leggings have made a comeback are everywhere. The layered type has emerged. Other layering styles include wearing a top over the other or a sporting jacket over a top and others. The layered look is in in the market now. The capris are doing well, and the skirts are the best choice for women who want to look elegant and feminine.

The military-patterned clothes is another trend. They are fashionable and stand out in the crowd. In the market today, bold prints, colors, cuts, are trending the scene. It portrays a bold attitude of the people today. Nobody cares about what other people wear, and this has reflected in the clothing industry. The outfits are different and have something attractive and unique; this is surprising.

During the hot season, fashion demands light clothes with sober colors. Floral colors are also ideal during this season. If the weather is scorching heat, you are bound to sweat. Sweat can spoil the clothes and also lead to bad body odor. Clothes that are resistant to sweat or those that emit fragrance are ideal for people who wear clothes that are tight or those who live in hot areas. This will ensure that the clothes last longer than normal and can be reused without getting spoilt. This applies to the silk which is stained easily, and the stains may not go even after cleaning the clothes. For the sweat proof clothes, the problem of sweat will be solved. These days, most clothes are water-proof and stain resistant.

The smart clothes have acquired a new meaning in the market today. It refers to dressing technically and not a chic manner. What if, clothes are fitted with a solar panel to produce the required heat for warmth? This can be ideal during the cold seasons or when you want. Other clothes have a mechanism to control some gadgets.

Clothing is more than the fashion statements. It is worth it to invest some money and time in them. Fashion can be how you express who you are, your identity through the choice of fashion. The clothes will speak a lot about an individual. For some people, clothing is about comfort and decency.

Choosing the ethical fashion is another element of what fashion is to people and what they want to express to others. For me, fashion is more than picking the best clothes that show our personality. It is also about linking people to the origin of the clothing and makes them feel part of the fast-changing industry.  For me, I choose my garments depending on where they originate from and the designer. I feel excited when I understand that what am wearing has no negative impact on other people’s life, I buy the clothes for my benefit, but I show others what I wear. Other people may not choose the same.

In modern society, fashion is more prevalent as compared to the peasant or primitive communities. Modern society is an open community that shows that distinctions are not rigid like in the past societies. The modern world is tolerant of the dynamic change in the fashion industry. In the past, people dressed with no interest in how they looked, so to them, fashion was not something important. They wore low-quality clothes, and fashion meant having to appreciate the clothes and items that were worn.  Over time, fashion has started to work as a medium through which people express who they are and what they value.
