The endocannabinoid system plays a pretty important role in regulating a variety of physical processes, like our mood, our appetite, the health of our digestive system, the absorption of vitamins and minerals, blood pressure, pain, and more. So, as you understand, a balanced endocannabinoid system is crucial.
Where does Cannabidiol come in that?
Cannabidiol, and the rest of the cannabinoids, interact with our bodies and impact us in an array of ways. The greatest way of doing so is by mimicking and augmenting the effects of the endocannabinoid compounds in our bodies. Where does CBD come from?
Cannabidiol comes from the Cannabis Sativa plant, which has two primary species, hemp and marijuana. Although both of them contain Cannabidiol, there is a much higher percentage of it in hemp, which also has a very low percentage of THC.
