To become a Class 1 police officer
in India, you need to clear the IPS (Indian Police Services) exam which is held
by Union public service commission (UPSC) every year. It is a very competitive
exam with more than 3,50,000 candidates taking up the examination out of which

Once you successfully clear the examination, you will be called for a personal
interview.

How to apply for a Defence job
To become an officer in Defence forces through the National
Defense Academy (NDA) or Combined Defense Services Exam (CDSE), you need to appear
and clear the written examination that is held by the UPSC. After clearing the
exam, the selection process done by the respective Selection Board involves a
number of psychological tests, an interview and group activities which are
collectively called the Officer like Qualities (OLQ) tests. Once found suitable
the candidate is then sent for a thorough medical examination.
Eligibility
To be eligible to join NDA, the candidate should be passed
or appeared 10+2 in any stream. To join through CDSE, the candidate should be a
graduate in any discipline from a recognised university or equivalent.
