Since the conversion of our historic country house into a hotel in the 1990s, it’s fair to say that we’ve had a bit of a ‘thing’ about Christmas. After all, you would struggle to find a more resplendent venue anywhere in Hertfordshire in which to celebrate it than Shendish Manor, with its Victorian main building but also much longer history, going as far back as the 13^th century.
