Location and Transportation

Sheffield City is located in the center of the county of Yorkshire in the UK. It has convenient transport links to all major cities and airports. It is only two hours away from London by train. The nearest international airport is located in Manchester.

This is one of the "flowering" of European cities, as nearly a third of the city - a picturesque area Peak District National Park (Peak District).

Accommodation

Representatives of numerous student communities of Sheffield pay for accommodation fewer than the students of other major cities. It has a friendly atmosphere, where it will be comfortable to live and study.

Division placement (Accommodation Services) provides students free assistance in finding suitable housing. At the University are available different types of accommodation. All the hostels are located within walking distance of academic buildings. Employees of the department for placement are doing everything possible to help students find accommodation that best suits their needs, tastes and budget.

Sheffield has a lot to offer students as leisure:

The possibilities of working a part-time

Many students work part time while studying. Student has the right to work part-time during the semester (20 hours per week) and full-time during vacations. At the same time it must provide proof of financial solvency, confirming that the work he needed primarily as experience, not only as a source of income.
