with Bangladesh, Bhutan, Myanmar, China, Nepal and Pakistan. Its territory
ranges from the plateau of the Deccan in the south, the flat plains along the
Ganges.The deserts to the west and the Himalayas.
INDIAN VISA: For INDIA you need a passport valid for six
months, plus an entry visas to require the Indian Embassy or Consulate. It also
needs a special permission to visit some areas normally closed to foreigners,
such as Assam, the Meghalaya, Manipur, the Lakshadweep islands, Andaman and
Nicobar Islands, Sikkim, Mizoram, Himachal Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh and Uttar
Pradesh.
HEALTH STANDARDS: No vaccinations are required
CURRENCY: There are no restrictions for foreign currency,
but any amount that exceeds $ 10,000 must be declared at customs. Any currency
can be exchanged in Indian currency at banks or authorised offices in hotels.
The foreign exchange documents should be stored to facilitate the conversion.
Major credit cards are accepted.
TIME DIFFERENCE: In INDIA time it is ahead four hours, but
when daylight savings time in Italy, the difference is three and a half hours.
CLOTHING: It should be light and practical. They are
preferred cotton garments. In northern India, in winter it is better to bring
some woollen clothing and a windbreaker.
LANGUAGES: English is the second language of INDIA, knowing
there will be no communication problems.
