WELCOME MICROSOFT DEFENDER ON ANDROID AND iOS DEVICES NOW

To get rid of installing Malware, Microsoft is bringing its antivirus software to iOS and Android. The aim is to assist Google and Apple combat malicious app.

Microsoft brought a pause in its mobile services in 2017 when it ended Windows 10 Mobile. Nevertheless, Microsoft still remained in the league with its other services such as Office Software on iOS and Android. And now with Microsoft Defender for mobiles it endeavours to provide security to smartphone users.

This Defender on iOS and Android is unlike a traditional anti- malware program. It is rather software based which saves people from going to blacklisted online destinations.

Moving ahead, you might be aware of the fact that Microsoft Defender ATP is available on macOS but do you know Microsoft has finally released the long- requested feature- Linux? Yes, developers can freely test Linux now.

All of the above are brainchildren of Microsoft 365 strategy. Talking about Microsoft’s default antivirus software, well it may have some limitations. Defender might ask you to download its services like Outlook.

As of now we can only wait for the complete release of Microsoft antivirus software and hope for the best.
