Webtoon XYZ

The Webtoon XYZ comic is now one of the most popular manga and Japanese manga series of all time. Viz Media has now launched a new series based on the webtoon. It starts off with Kim Tanchoumon, a boy in training to be a full-fledged warrior. His mentor is an old and respected samurai named Kuchiki Hyuga.

One day, while he is on a break from training, he gets attacked by a mysterious thief called Gingka. He thinks that it's his friend Mimo, whom he's been looking out for, who is the culprit. But, in reality, it's Yoruichi Shihoin, a female thief who wants to use Gingka's blade to kill Kuchiki. But, since Yoruichi is already a master swordsman, she backs out at the last moment and tells her master about her encounter with Gingka.

When she realizes what happened, she flees the scene while instructing her partner in fighting with swordsmanship. However, this proves too late since Gingka already gained Mimo's sword. When they reunite, they find that their swords have been changed into diamond dust. They then discover that Gingka, whom they had thought was killed during battle, had taken over the human realm using a mysterious device called the "World War Diamond". Now, they have to fight and save everyone they know from this man...

The story line moves fast and includes all the elements that kids love like comedy, adventure, and action. When I started reading, I found the characters to be well drawn and the style of story writing to be above average. There were even times when I felt the plot was a little too rushed, but that was the only drawback I could find. The story lines are exciting and flowing at the same time, and that kept me hooked on this series until the very end.

The art and graphic design of the Webtoon Xyz series is great as well. All the characters are designed so realistically that it almost looked like they were made to look alive. There are some areas where the artwork could use improvement, but I would only go as far as saying that I wish there were more details added to some of the battles. I also think that the background sounds and music were a little flat but they didn't affect me. Everything else about this book was great, and I'm glad I picked it up because it is just that good!
