Ways Science Explains the Phenomenon of Life after Death

Do you know what happens after you die? This is one of the biggest questions that you might ask yourself. Humans have been trying to answer this question since time immemorial, in several ways. The question of life and death has led to some significant amount of work either directly or indirectly.

Scientists have been working for the proof of life after death but they have only begun understanding the process of death. Science will not be able to explain this phenomenon but there are some ways in which it can try, 

The moment that you take your last breath or your heart beats for the last time is not the moment of death. Death is a mysterious process and that it is not a fleeting moment. It has been exhibited by the unusual confusion that is faced by some people about whether a person is really dead or not. Many people out there might have heard stories about someone who had been declared dead to have woken up in the funeral.

 

In spite of such medical advancement and technologies, people still commit mistakes regarding who is dead and who is not. Some of these mistakes are the result of human error. Since, American coroners need not have medical degrees and there are some conditions that might mimic death in a convincing manner. Mistaking the living as dead is rare but it still happens.

 

You do not die instantaneously. It is a simple process by which a person stops breathing. Thus, the brain function ceases to have any support. However, the process is much more complex than it sounds. The process takes places over an entire lifetime. In fact, the final process of death might take up to several hours. Some doctors have a belief that this can be reversed. Scientists have very little knowledge about what might happen when a person dies. This is mainly because it is a very complex question. Chemistry has supported the idea that there is a single objective in reality. Something that is subjective is not considered to be a fact. This is the reason scientist steer away from the subject of proof of life after death. 

Brain requires oxygen to function properly. Thus it relies on the heart and the cardiovascular system for taking in oxygen. It is then filtered and passed on to the brain. Thus, once the heart stops the brain dies quite rapidly. It can only start functioning if the heart is restarted.

When people who had suffered from a cardiac arrest was interviewed and about 40% of the people said that had awareness even when the heart had stopped beating and the rains wasn’t functioning. However, scientists refer to this condition as post traumatic disorder or psychiatric problems.

 

A study of patients with cardiac arrests showed that many of them recalled their death experience quite dramatically. About 39% of them said that they had a certain feeling of consciousness but were unable to describe anything that had happened around them or to them. Most of these people remember feeling persecuted and scared.
