Water Saving Drip Irrigation Technique
The area of agriculture system is less advanced. Most of the farms in the region of drought-prone build a trust on the facility of drip irrigation which is considered as a water saving method that further helps in the growing of crops.
By using long thin tubes, these types of systems make use
of water pumping technique that can be stretched across the field of farms.
Farmers make use of various drippers that are dime-sized, that works along the
length of each tube trickle which further waters directly on to the base of the
plant. A farmer in the field acquires the capability of controlling the amount
and timing of watering the plant.
A research has been conducted by Top 10 Engineering College in Rajasthan which shows that water can be consumed with the use of technique known as drip irrigation by 60% and the yielding of crop can be increased with 90%, while compared with the various methods of conventional irrigation.
But
the major drawback of this system or technique is that, it is highly expensive.
In off-grid environment, the farmers require high range of cost for the
installation of their farms.
Due to this, engineers have introduced a method that helps in the reduction of half of the cost for the drip system of solar power with the optimization of drippers as well as New Approaches of Grephene Sheets. Along with all this, these new drippers have the capability to reduce the pumping power for the irrigation system by half by lowering various energy bills for the farmers working in the field.
The team of engineers makes an effective way of modifying the different dimension of drippers in certain way that can also reduce the pressure required for the water pumping through the complete system. In this case also, it will deliver the same amount of water to the field.
Later, this system is modified further by the students of Best Engineering College in Jaipur which includes the optimization of various filters, pumps, tubes and solar power systems that make the system of drip irrigation affordable for the farmers in various developing regions of the world?
The system of low drop-cost could increase the income and yielding facility.
It can further help to get out of the poverty system occurring in the low or
backward areas.
