Look for a volunteer program in India to help those that are in need of it.

I recently graduated from college and can’t seem to find a job. So, to get some experience, I’m searching for India volunteer programs. I think this will be a good use of my time and also give me a nice reference on my resume. I have a lot to offer in the area of life skills and I’d like to give some of my knowledge to others. I’ve always wanted to travel to another country so I believe that volunteering in India will be an amazing and unforgettable experience.

While searching for India volunteer programs I see that there are many people in need including young children. I have the opportunity to share my time for as few as two weeks or as many as twelve. In addition, I don’t have to be a teacher or have a specific skill. I just need a willing heart and an open mind. All of the supplies will be given to me so I don’t even have to bring anything except what I personally need. I’m looking forward to volunteering in India to help those who are less fortunate than what I am.

Volunteer programs in India include many opportunities. When I get there I could be teaching women and children to speak English. I could also be teaching them how to use the computer, the internet, and other computer related skills. Some days I could be working with children, playing, and teaching them their lesson plans for the day. Another area of need is helping women and young girls learn skills that will help them to earn money and become productive members of society. It is terrible to think that there are children who live and work on the streets and they will need help as well. Some of the mothers need to learn proper sanitation and hygiene for themselves and their children.

After searching for volunteer programs in India I see that I won’t have to be working constantly. If I decide to, I can take a day trip over the weekend or in the evening. Available to me is a hiking trip in the Himalayas, a tour of the Taj Mahal, or a tour of Jaipur. Of course, I need to visit the markets to get a little bit of shopping in just for fun and relaxation.

I’m looking forward to the volunteer programs in India. The experience is going to be something that I will never forget. I intend to take in the experience for all that I can. I will be gone for three weeks teaching many people how to speak English and also how to use computers. I think that giving back to the others is an important part of life. If I have the time I should do it because the recipients will never forget the experience and they will use their skills to make a living and have a better life.
