This is the new, sixth-generation Transporter(with Car Dvd Player? There are two cup holders in an odd spot on the top of the dash, which makes for a a good use of space but the drinks are constantly in the sun, making them less suitable to Australia than in Europe. In the centre of top dash there's also an open binnacle for paper work or a folder but the negative is whatever you put in there reflects on the windscreen, which, for me, is annoying and distracting. Volkswagen brags about all the storage available in the Transporter, and while some is good most of it is small and finicky; even the glove box is small and the absence of a centre console is disappointing. The door pockets have two shelves - the bottom has a small amount of storage and a place for a drink bottle, on the top shelf you can fit phone and wallet sized objects - which is handy. The seats are good with mild bolstering on the base and even better side bolstering, and with soft cushioning that makes long days on the move comfortable. There are adjustable height seat belts, big sun visors but no vanity mirrors and the driver's seat has lumbar support.
