The interesting thing about the lake is that even during extreme cold temperatures, the lake never freezes. It is said that a sage named Maharishi Bhrigu used to meditate here and due to this reason the lake is considered as sacred. It is a must visit for any tourist arriving on a holiday trip to Manali.

Mall Road: All of us know that old Manali is famous for shopping garments and souvenirs but there is another interesting place where tourists can shop their favorite items. Mall Road is a major attraction and is frequently visited by tourists. It has got a number of shops that sells woolen clothes such as caps, shawls, jackets and many more. The presence of numerous eating joints around the market also makes it a good food destination.

Apart from these unknown places there is another exciting sport known as zorbing. Here, a person is made to roll in a giant transparent ball. It requires courage and mental strength to enjoy this sport. Persons participating here are made to enter into the balls and they are rolled down from a steep slope. In order to experience this wonderful sport, one can visit Solang Valley where a 25 minute ride is offered.
