Visit the Massive Hotel Complexes During Las Vegas Holidays

by Daisy Wilkinson Travel Guides

Popularly called 'Sin City' for its tolerance of various forms of adult entertainment, Las Vegas is one of the world's most popular destinations for gambling, fine dining, shopping, and nightlife. It is located in the Nevada state of the United States of America (USA) and is officially known as the 'City of Las Vegas'. The name translates in the Spanish language as 'The Meadows'. This American city was settled and incorporated in the early 20th century. Today it draws plenty of tourists from different parts of the world owing to its exciting offerings.

One of the most spectacular attractions you'll get to visit during your Las Vegas holidays is the 'The Strip'. It is Las Vegas Boulevard's central section running through the city for about 2.5 miles from north-east to south-west. This section of the city is lined with massive entertainment complexes and each of them has been built with a unique theme. These complexes are home to some elegant performance venues, luxury rooms and suites, and fine-dining restaurants. When the sun goes down in the evening, this attractive section of the city is illuminated with many glittering neon signs. You'll have some memorable moments while witnessing these amazing sights.

Upon visiting the Venetian Hotel located on The Strip, you'll come across a shopping arcade that resembles the city of Venice. This resort is among the finest resorts in Las Vegas and is home to many attractions, which include the recreations of some of the popular structures, such as Bridge of Sighs and the Rialto Bridge. You can also experience one of the Venetian Gondola rides, which allows you to see the complex as the gondolier takes the boat through the shopping arcade. You can hop on one of these boats that await passengers at a place close to the sidewalk in front of the hotel.

Don't miss one of the most easily recognisable resorts on The Strip called Paris Las Vegas. It features a massive model of the Eiffel Tower on its front section. Upon moving down the way, you'll also come across a recreation of the Paris Opera House. An observation deck called 'Eiffel Tower Experience' is a must-visit while exploring this hotel. It is located high above the streets of this city and gives you some amazing 360-degree views of the city. One storey below the observation deck is a delightful and romantic Eiffel Tower Restaurant. You can also try a mock hot-air balloon while enjoying a tour of the Paris Las Vegas hotel.

You can easily identify the Mirage Hotel while walking along The Strip during your holiday spent in this American city. One of the most exciting features of this hotel is an artificial volcano at its front, which erupts at regular intervals and amazes the visitors. This hotel is also home to the Dolphin Habitat and Secret Garden, which give tourists the chance to witness a wide range of exotic animals and several trained dolphins. One of the best sites visible from the sidewalk at night is the glowing red fire that shoots out from the artificially created volcanic structure.
