Visit Enchanting Attractions with Your USA Tour
by Amanda Sutcliffe Travel DealsOne of the largest countries in the world, the United
States of America (USA) is a place where you'll have plenty of things to see
and do. If you're on a tour of this country for just a week or two, it would be
impossible to explore everything that it has to offer for its visitors. This is
the reason why holidaymakers often choose to explore a particular region of
this country, such as the Southwest and the East Coast. You'll come across some
awe-inspiring sceneries and historic attractions while exploring this part of
the world, which will make your tour of this country truly memorable.
Among the most famous attractions of this country you
can explore during your USA
tour is undoubtedly the Statue of Liberty. It is one of the most popular
monuments in the world and an icon of the United States. This magnificent
statue is a universal symbol of freedom and is located in the New York Harbour.
You can either admire this statue from a distance by visiting Battery Park or
examine it closely by taking a ferry right to the place where it stands. There
are several ways to explore this monument and this can be done by purchasing
the grounds ticket, pedestal ticket, or a crown ticket. However, it would be
advisable to book your ticket well in advance.
Yet another famous attraction visited by plenty of individuals
and families touring this country is Niagara Falls. It is situated along the
border of Canada and the United States and is one of the world's most popular
waterfalls. The sheer magnificence of these waterfalls would leave you amazed
as you watch the large quantities of water from Lake Erie flow into Lake
Ontario over these massive falls. However, during the winter season, the amount
of water is reduced to some extent as more of it is used for the production of
hydro-electric power.
The Grand Canyon is one of the places you must not
miss during your time spent in the United States. It has been carved by the
Colorado River, creating the most dramatic ledges and cliff walls. The most
visited section of Grand Canyon National Park is the South Rim, as it has a
large visitors' centre and regular bus service is run along the Rim during the
high season. You can also savour the marvellous views by taking a stroll on the
walkway that takes you to several platforms and vantage points. The North Rim
provides a different perspective of the canyon, but you'll have limited access
of this section from November to May owing to snowy conditions.
If you wish to experience an exciting nightlife with
loads of fun and entertainment, visit Las Vegas. While taking a stroll on 'The
Strip', the central section of Las Vegas Boulevard, you'll get to witness some
massive hotels, resorts, and entertainment complexes. Most of them have been
built with a defining theme, which would never fail to amaze you. They look
spectacular after sunset when the glittering lights and neon signs illuminate
them and the rest of the city.
