Verizon May Get eSim Support by Next Month

by Jack Martin Technical Support

Recently, Verizon announced that they are very much close to accumulating dual SIM and eSIM support after a primary delay which is meant to a network that wouldn’t be able to works with the iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR’s flaunted dual SIM ability. In an insider memo which was recently leaked to 9to5Mac, Verizon has said to all their employees that they are now expecting to release dual SIM support with an eSIM and also a physical SIM paired together probably in the early month of December.

Initially, Apple also announces that Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T would all give support to the dual SIMs. But all the customers of the Version are run into the problem: as you can only use the Versions SIM card just for your initial line, and when you swap it over to your secondary line, then all the services of the Versions are getting downgraded to a 2G network instead of the LTE. It is because the carrier realized the secondary line wouldn’t be able to support the high-speed data and also voice services, which it held off by offering eSIM support too. And as a effect, users can get full dual-SIM capabilities with the alone Version. And will also need a second carrier option.

In a recent statement Version said that: “Based on the discussion with the Apple, the company believes that these issues can be resolved easily and faster and the user should be able to add some more great Version services on the secondary line which might be available before the end of this year,

However, now the timeline for Verizon’s dual SIM and eSIM implementation seems to be narrowed down at the end of this November or in the early December, while some other carriers are vaguer on when the users can expect full dual-SIM support. But thus far, in the US, Apple is hitting zero for three.
