analytics reports, the nation imported products worth USD 2,407 billion in
2020. This showed a downfall in the value by -6.3% as compared to the year 2019
that had USD 2,568 billion value. The nation's international trade deficit in
both goods and services has shown an increase and accounts for 74.4 billion
dollars in March which was 70.5 dollars in February. It revealed that imports
have shown much increase than the exports made by the country.
US Import Data shows that the United
States was at the top of the importer's list among all the countries of the
world in 2020. The import statistics make coverage on the overall goods and
services that were imported to the country and were worth $2000 per commodity
as shipped by organizations and individuals into the U.S from other countries. According
to new figures published by the US Census Bureau and US Bureau of Economic
Analysis, the goods and services sector had a $74.4 billion deficit in March of
2021. It also showed that in March the total imports were around 274.5 billion
dollars to 91.6 billion dollars and had a decrease in the surplus services of
0.3 dollars to 17.1 billion dollars.
The import data of the US is of customs
type that covers details of importers and other details related to them. The US Importers Database report covers information on the major importers,
including the company's name, shipping information, and contact information. As
per the US Shipment Data, the total import value from 2019-2021 was
194,590,628. The information gathered by the use is entirely focused on import
bills, shipping bills, invoices, and other export-import records that are
critical for trading activities like the import and export of goods.
All of these data are obtained from
authentic sources like Custom Departments, Port Authorities, Shipping &
