Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javed Zarif said his country has increased the amount of enrichment of rich uranium after following a nuclear deal with the West. He posted this information on a Monday post on his official Twitter page.
Earlier, in a speech on Monday afternoon, the Iranian Foreign Minister had said that the country's enriched uranium reserves had increased by 300 kilograms. After a while, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) confirmed the verdict in Vienna. Meanwhile, after publication of this information, the United States and the United Nations, including European countries, expressed great distraction.
In a statement in the White House, Iran has called for Iran to fully comply with nuclear negotiations. The European Union or EU says the EU calls for Iran to take back the amount of rich uranium in its former state.
On the other hand, United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres said that his organization has always emphasized the implementation of nuclear negotiations as a key achievement of the diplomatic environment. But the implementation of this international agreement has become difficult due to the US getting out of the compromise.
In reply to this, Zarif said in his Twitter post that the 36th chapter of nuclear negotiation says that if one party violates the agreement, the other party may suspend the implementation of the promise given in it.
The Iranian Foreign Minister said that after the US got out of the nuclear deal, Iran gave European countries a few weeks to implement this compromise. But after 60 weeks, they did not implement it, Iran has exceeded the amount of rich uranium reserves in line with Article 36. If the Europeans implement their commitments, Iran will also bring its reserves down to 300 kilograms
