UPSC CDS (II) 2015 Eligibility Criteria & Conditions

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is going to conduct
CDS (Combined Defence Services) Examination (II) in November 2015. CDS exam is conducted twice every year for the recruitment of candidates for Officers post in various defence services in India. The last date for apply online for CDS II 2015 is 14th August, 2015.

In order to be eligible for CDS exam, candidates must fulfill certain eligibility criteria that we have mentioned below

Eligibility Criteria for CDS II 2015 Examination

Education qualification

1. Indian Military Academy (IMA) & Officers Training Academy: Candidates must have a degree from a recognized university in India
2. Indian Naval Academy (INA) - Must have a degree in Engineering
3. Air Force Academy -  Must have a degree with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or Degree in Engineering

Age Limit criteria

1. IMA: Must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1992 and not later than 01.07.1997 (Unmarried male candidates)
2. INA: Must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1992 and not later than 01.07.1997 (Unmarried male candidates)
3. Air Force Academy: Must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1992 and not later than 01.07.1997 (Unmarried male candidates)
4. Officers Training Academy (SSC Course for Men): Must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1991 and not later than 01.07.1997 (Male Candidates (Married or Unmarried))
5. Officers Training Academy (SSC Women Non-Technical Course): Must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1991 and not later than 01.07.1997 (Unmarried female candidates)
