1.      Monte Alban: Monte Alban is a gigantic pre-Columbian archaeological site located along with the Santa Cruz Xoxocotlan Municipality, south of Mexico. It is straddled between the low mountainous ranges in the central section of Oaxaca. This site is notable for its monumental core and other hundreds of artificial terraces, dozens of mounded architectures, and surrounding flanks. It is one of the earliest cities in Mesoamerica that dates back from 500 BC. The site receives more than 4 million visitors and has been designated as a UNESCO site in 1987.

2.      Palenque: Palenque or Lakamha is an ancient 7th-century Mayan city located in southern Mexico. It is one of the best-preserved sites and was listed in UNESCO in 1987. It is located near the Usumacinta River. Palenque is smaller in size than Tikal, Copal, and Chichen Itza but is home to the finest Mayan architecture, roof comb, bas relief carvings, and sculptures. This site receives more than 9,20, 470 visitors annually.

3.      Rock Paintings of Sierra de San Francisco: Rock Paintings of Sierra de San Francisco was listed in UNESCO in 1993. It is a prehistoric rock-art pictograph located along with the mountain ranges of the Mulege Municipality in the Baja California region.
