Unable to Post on Facebook from Windows PC? Here are the Fixes

Check if you are not Banned

Facebook, like most other popular social networks, has a list of guidelines and rules regarding content. It regularly updates its rules to tackle posts that promote violence, biases, prejudice, racism, and more. If you have been banned by Facebook, then you will get notified about it.

Remove Cache of Browser

You should pursue these steps provided below:

  1. Navigate to Google Chrome and launch a fresh tab.
  2. Thereafter, hold the ‘Shift + Ctrl + Delete’ keys to invoke the menu of ‘Clear browsing data.’
  3. You should choose the ‘All-time’ option as the desired time range.
  4. Then mark the Cached images and files, Browsing history, Cookies, and other site data check boxes.
  5. Later, click on the button of Clear data.

Delete Extensions

  1. First of all, download Malwarebytes from the internet.
  2. After that, launch the tool then select the Scan Now button.
  3. You have to wait for the tool to finish the scanning system of your system.
  4. Now, select the ‘Clean & Repair’ option and then reboot the system.

In case the above-mentioned solutions do not work, then you should first logout from your Facebook account, and then log back in. After that, try to post something on your timeline. If this does not do the trick, then simply wait for a while as Facebook servers may be down.
