UK Education System – Primary Education To Higher Education

The education system in the Britain is separated into 4 major sections, primary education, secondary education, further education and higher education. Kids in the UK have to lawfully attend primary and secondary education which start to educate from about 5 years old until the student is 16 years old.

The education system in the UK is dividing the 4 stages:

1.       First Stage: 5 to 7 years old

2.       Second Stage: 7 to 11 years old

3.       Thirds Stage: 11 to 14 years old

4.       Four Stage : 14 to 16 years old

Usually key stages 1 and 2 will be undertaken at main schooling and at 11 years old a student will go onto secondary school and end stages 3 and 4.

Once student’s success the complete their GCSE's they have the option to go onto further education and then possible higher education, or end school and go into the working world.

Further Education
