About UGC NET 

UGC (University Grants Commission) was created by the Indian Government in 1956. It was a statutorily constituted institution through the Indian Government.

For the benefit of UGC as a representative of the UGC, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is the body that conducts an examination at an international scale that is commonly referred to as the National Eligibility Test (NET) also known as"the" UGC NET. The test was introduced in 1989 to 1990, the test is administered for 81 distinct areas.
