Types of nozzles used in fountains

One of the common uses of fountains is to project the water up in the air. The height of the water jet gives majestic and spectacular view to the whole place where the fountain is used. During the night, the colorful lights and music synchronized with flow of water jet creates mesmerizing view. The water jet can be projected in variety of ways. The shape to water jet is given by the use of nozzles. These nozzles comes in different types, some of these types are mentioned below

 

Candle jet nozzles –

 

This nozzle gives series of column of water jet with full flow of water. The height of all columns is same and all of them give dense and foaming effect welcoming visitors and passerby. The fountains with candle nozzles are put in pool.

 

Cascading nozzles –

 

This type of nozzles is mostly used in commercial and architectural fountains in parks and other public places. The height of the water jets from this nozzle can vary. The nozzles are used with variety of ways to achieve the desired spectacular view.

 

Churner nozzles ---

 

This nozzle gives full volume, extremely dense, foaming, and frothy spout that attracts the attention of viewers to the appearance of water. The water projected from nozzles gives the effect of water tree. With the use of colorful lights at night, the water tree can be given different enchanting colors.
