Below are some steps thayou can perform to resolve printing issues with your QuickBooks. But before these, you should ensure that your QuickBooks is updated to the latest version. Here are the steps:

Switch off your system, restart your computer and then switch on the printer again.
Ensure that the printer is loaded properly.
Then click, Windows Start button, Choose Control Panel and double-click Printers and Faxes

Go to File-> Print
Choose XPS Document Writer and Print
In the Save As dialogue box, choose Desktop as the place.
Now check if you can view the XPS document from notepad.
