Odaiba is our favorite area to take kids and teens. It has a
beach, grassy areas, lots of space, a number of attractions, family-friendly
restaurants and malls. Here are our favorites;

fun! Start your morning off at Bills Odaiba in the Decks Shopping Mall which
has an open terrace that gives a beautiful view of Tokyo Bay and the Rainbow
Bridge. The large, 200 person seating restaurant is clean and family-friendly.
Families can enjoy their meal then take a stroll out on the large promenade in
nice weather or stay-in and shop around. If you walk towards Tokyo Bay there is
a man-made beach where kids can frolick in the sand and enjoy the view. Bills
Odaiba opens from 9:00.
If with young kids Legoland Discovery Center is a great
option. Located a minute walk from Bills it`s one of our favorite indoor theme
park on our list of TOP Theme Parks in Japan. They have a miniature model of
the Tokyo’s cityscape made from nearly 1.5 million bricks, a Lego-themed laser
shooting ride, Fire Academy & Construction Site with crawl spaces, 4D
cinema, and so much more. Tokyo Legoland Discovery Center opens from 10:00.

Here are our Top baby & kid-friendly Tokyo restaurants
with play areas for ages 0 – 6 years. We have personally visited each
restaurant and recommend them to all our friends.
Looking for a great spot to sit back and relax in Tokyo while
the kids play? The temperatures are dropping and poor weather can make any
family stuck indoors for too long scramble to the nearest cafe with a play

1. The baby & kid-friendly 100 Spoons Family Restaurant
inside The Museum of Contemporary Art in Tokyo (MOT) is fantastic. The interior
is clean, with minimal furniture and spacious. They have natural light coming
in from two large windows with views of the MOT’s exterior structore and a
warmer family-friendly section in the back.
100 Spoons in the MOT has a small play space named Atelier
with two sculptures you can add sticker dots to (stickers 100 yen) , sit at a
table and become a piece of art (tables at the back of the restaurant have a
camera directed at them where your image is reflected on a picture frame hung
on the wall), children are given colored pencils to color on the menu, and
after lunch you can explore the MOT, browse the current museum exhibition or
play at Kiba park behind the museum.
2. Milkland Hokkaido Cafe, Jiyugaoka is a newly opened cafe
in the heart of Jiyugaoka where you can enjoy milk and dairy products direct
from Hokkaido! Take out Hokkaido Milk, Cheese and agricultural products on
their 1st floor cafe space or stay for lunch on their 2nd floor cafe & play
space. Enjoy the rich, creamy goodness of Hokkaido dairy products while
enjoying videos of their farms on their wall tvs. Young kids can play in the
play area with cow costume & books (Japanese language only) while you wait
