Get the right travel gear: This is one of the most common mistakes made by travelers. Their travel bags are often a complete mismatch to their travel requirements. It is either too big or too small. In some cases, the bag is very heavy and unmanageable. It is best to pack your stuff in a four wheeler trolley bag. This type of bag make the travel very effortless on a straight surface. Pack right: Research about the weather of the location that you wish to visit and carry woolens or summer clothes accordingly. Traveling light is anytime a better option, so don’t add unnecessary stuff to your bag. If there is extra space left in the bag, then you can fill it up with gifts and souvenirs for your loved ones that you would buy from the place of your travel.

Pack smart: It makes sense to pack clothes or shoes which can be smartly combined with various options and repeated without anyone noticing it, i.e… you can smartly pair jeans or leggings with multiple tees or Kurt's in combination with different shawl or stole. Sports shoes can prove as a saving grace in many situations, so do make it a point to have on in your bag.

Pack for emergencies: Carry one or two extra copies of your travel documents. In case of international travel make add the copies of your passport and visa to this docket. Don’t forget to put some digestive medicines or dissolvable sachets, paracetamol, Band-Aid strips. Also add multipurpose knife, emergency torch with batteries, power bank, safety pins etc.
