Transfer Iphone music video photo itunes library to another iphone / ipod or ios devices

How to transfer iphone data content music video, photo album to new iphone. How to take iphone backup and  how to restore iphone / ipad and ios devices. How to restore or copy old iphone apps , video, data, calendar, photo, library ,contact to other ipad / ipod touch or ios devices. 

   Itunes is very widely used media player. It is of apple. Older iphone ipod need itunes for update,  restore, backup and sync. While newer iphone are not much in need for itunes though for backup and restore itunes needed. While  older ipod iphone you need itunes for data transfer music transfer, iphone restore and updates of ios.  After ios 11 release itunes is not much require by ios devices. Latest itunes version is 12.7.5.9 which is released on may 29 ,2018.

 

                 Now to backup on itunes you need latest version of itunes on your computer. Usb data cable for connecting iphone / ipad  or ios devices to computer and iphone / ipad / ipod touch for backup.  Process for windows computer and mac computer for backup and iphone restore is almost same.

 

           You can also sync your iphone to computer itunes via wifi. But to activate this you need usb connection for first time. When iphone is connected to computer. Open itunes go to summary tab, then on right side under option, select sync with this iphone over wifi. Then click on apply.

 

Now you have iphone 8 256 gb and you have purchased new iphone x 64gb. As iphone x price is 40 percentage higher than iphone 8 so you may go for 64gb iphone x instead of 256 gb iphone x.

Now you have so many songs, movies, photos , contact, apps on your older iphone and you want to transfer them to new iphone x. for that you first take backup of your iphone 8 to itunes and then restore your iphone x with itunes backup. This will transfer iphone 8 music, songs album, video , films , apps, contact to new iphone x. you can say iphone complete data content transfer to new iphone x.

 

Now first take backup of your iphone with itunes.

For that start itunes, under itunes click on device tab which is at the top left corner in newer itunes.

Now you will find all ios devices which are connected to itunes. Click on iphone from which you want to transfer data content, music , video , films , contact, apps etc.

Now click on summary tab on left side panel.

Now on the right side you will see update ,restore iphone / ipad , manually backup and restore  iphone or ios device. Under this option you will see two option backup now and restore backup option.

 

 

              Here we first take backup off old ipad iphone. This will backup all music, video, mp3 , photo gallery , contact , apps. Which you can later transfer to new iphone / ipod.

               Once backup of old iphone / ipad is completed disconnect old iphone ipad and connect new iphone to computer itunes. Now open itunes now click on device tab and click on new iphone on which you want to copy data of your old iphone.

Now click on summary tab on left side and then on right side click on restore backup. Now you will see a new tab having list of backup choose old iphone latest backup.  This will not restore firmware. When you choose restore option that will restore iphone with latest ios version. But when you restore iphone from backup it will restore music, notes , contact , calendar , messages and setting. Other word you transferred old iphone music, video , films, songs, apps, calendar , library to new iphone.
