Top Live Action Comic Book TV Series Adaptations That You Should Watch!

It's a fact that this is the era of comic book adaptation. Every other day it's either a big budget movie or a TV series that's being made based on a comic book character. The good news is viewers are loving it and showing their support. One reason for this could be that we all grew up reading comics and have a favorite superhero. The live action TV adaptation and big Hollywood adaptation let us relive our childhood again, but without being embarrassed. None the less, here's a list of the hottest TV series adaptations of comics that everyone should watch:

The Walking Dead

Yes, the first one on the list is not a Marvel comic adaptation. The Walking Dead series has been a major hit since season 1 and its popularity only grew season after season. The series has already completed seven seasons and it looks like it's not going to stop anytime soon. What fans love about the series are the characters, the story and the twist and turns, the actions, the visual effects, and most importantly the zombies and the gory deaths. 

Legion

Legion aired on FX earlier this year and is a Marvel comic TV adaptation. However, it is not like the typical TV adaptation of a superhero comic. The groundbreaking storytelling is the main highlight of the show. It tells the story of David Haller who has been told his entire lie that he is suffering from a serious mind disease. However, he later discovers that he instead has incredible psychic superpowers. Here's a little trivia on Legion, he is the son of Professor X from X-Men. Dan Stevens leads the role along with a couple of great actors like Jean Smart, Rachel Keller, Jean Smart, and Aubrey Plaza. Daredevil

Fans received Marvel comics Daredevil, which streams on Netflix, greatly. It is a one of a kind show. The cast is amazing and each actor knows his/her character well. The show has completed two seasons and both were a treat to watch. The show doesn't wander off the original story of the comic and sticks to it. What fans especially loved about the show is the action sequence and the introduction of Punisher.         

Luke Cage

It is yet another Marvel comics and Netflix show, and the hype before the series premiere was huge. The story revolves around an ex-convict Luke Cage who in fact is a good man and is trying to rebuild his life in Harlem, New York. He is a super human with strength and unbreakable skin and got these powers because of a failed experiment. The show focuses on the American black community, gangs, politics, and the bad streets of New York. As compared to Daredevil, the show is a little slow and lags action, but one can't deny that Luke Cage is a good show and a must watch.
