by Ram Sewak Transportation
Did you recently move into your new home, after a long journey from Indore to Gwalior? Were the packers and movers in Indore kind enough to assist you in unboxing and setting up your new space for the time being? Well, that would be quite a relief! But now after weeks of your shift to this place, and you get used to the dimensions of this brand new space, you are now willing to get into the household re-organization task in reality, where you can once again design your home the way you always wanted to do! That is amazing but we are sure, you would need some quick home-set-up ideas that you can work upon.

Exactly! We know why you have landed up on this page and what exactly you are looking for. So, without wasting one more second, let’s check out some amazing post-move, home setup ideas below.

Break down the complicated tasks:

Do you think you can focus on several things at a time, as the kitchen, bathroom, and bookshelf set up? Of course, not. So, make sure you know which areas or rooms you would arrange first. Break down one massive task into smaller ones and structure one particular area, at a time.

Pick up your preferred room/corner:

Begin your home organization task with your choice of the corner. Though you would have already begun your routine with the current home setup, that was made the day you moved in, if you think it is yet not organized well and is looking clumsy then you should spend some good time getting your house systematized – organize your wardrobe with clothes in order, hang your office wear on the hangers, accessories like belt, jewelry, headbands, belts, and watches should be kept in the right place, books should be arranged in the shelf with décor and wall artwork aesthetically put up in the living room and other walls. Dining space should be put up comfortably and the kitchen should be lit up with the right things in the right places – the chimney, dishwasher, crockery stand should be wiped clean before turning functional.

Set up what you would need at first:

If you have yet not organized the rudimentary items in your place, from the crockery to your books, to the clothes, to the essential toiletries and medicines that you use regularly, make sure you do that first thing once you have looked over the possible spaces that need a quick re-organization. See if all the remote controls are in place, all the cleaning supplies have been unboxed and re-arranged at their desire place. And do not forget to set up any other major appliances if you have not done that yet.

Keep the documents & ID in place:

Is your document folder still lying somewhere in the corner of your table? Well, now when you have moved into your place and there is no need of keeping those documents close to you, you must find the right place to upkeep them. So, find that place where you do your work or where you have set up your study, and take a moment to reorganize the folder, because there would be receipts, bills, agreement papers, and several miscellaneous papers that you put up together like the inventory, checklists, quotation papers, etc. – some of which you won’t need anymore. So, de-clutter all of that and keep the documents together, identity proofs, and photographs together.

Set up the major appliances sooner:

Your microwave oven, air conditioner, desktop computer, smart LED television, refrigerator, and inverter should be installed in the right place. You will need these utility appliances right from the day you move in, so you would already have them up and running already but if some of them do need a shuffle or re-arrangement, make sure you do that, so you can operate them as per your need and convenience.

Finish the time-taking organizations:

You would still be left with some of the complex items to be arranged into your new home. For instance, the oversize couch that has yet not been pulled out from its furniture cover and is still under wraps, and that wooden corner that still lies at the corner of the entrance of your home. Now it is your time to get into the unpacking of those remaining items, that have yet not found their desired place to settle. Apart from that, make sure all the complicated setups have been done – from coordinating the cables and cords at the back panel of the CPU, set-up box, or the refrigerator, to the home theatre system that needs to be put up in the living room wall. Do all of these things at the earliest.
Re-organize furniture & other goods:

Though the packing team would have placed the furniture wherever they thought it should be, for the moment now when you have organized all the haphazardly kept stuff and the remaining unopened boxes, you can pull out the floor plan from your document folder and get into the furniture shifting and re-arrangement just the way you planned it. Ask other members of your family to join you in the task so it becomes easy and fun!

Get into your comfy couch & chill:

Now when you have almost organized your new home just the way you always wanted to do, this is your time to relax. Sit with your family, eat good food, watch out for your favourite movies, and have a good conversation. After all, you completed your house move and even pulled off your home organization task in a pretty short period! Congratulations. Now breathe easy and get back to your routine life, get back to your work.
