TO STEP BY BRĂILA
City located on the left bank
of the Danube, 170 kilometers from its mouth, is the second largest port of the
country. First mentioned in a document of the city, as a settlement on the
Danube, named ,, Brayla ", dating from 1368, in a transmission privilege
granted Brasov merchants. The city was first documented now 630 years when the
Romanian ruler Vlaicu gave traders of Brasov the privilege of selling their
goods in Braila.
Traian market is in fact the old city center, where open as sunlight all its
arteries. The market dates back to 1833 when the cobbled. Square was originally
called "St. Michael and Gabriel" and have an area of 11,000 square
meters. In this market we have attractions, all interesting.
