by Manodh T. CEO at Uptrix Consulting

Much has been said and written about how Microsoft Dynamics 365 can not only make your work easier but also enhance productivity in employees.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 provides you with opportunities to work around UX (User Experience), reporting, process abilities, etc.
These, in turn, aid in creating a personalized user experience, apart from envisaging large data sets. With MD365, you can tailor-make forms, run reports and acquire information related to the processes; and all of this is just a click away!
While you have every reason to go for MD365, it is also very important to learn how to use the tool efficiently and effectively. We have compiled a few tips that will help you work smartly and make the most of MD365.
With Microsoft Dynamics 365, enjoy a customized, hassle-free experience. Here is how:

1. Customize Forms

Looking to customize forms in a manner that best suits your unique requirements? Go to the manage function tab. Select “options”, and then select “personalize this form”. Now, select the “manage” icon. Get fast and easy access by changing your personalization into an XML file.

2. Customize Default Dashboard

You can also customize your default dashboard. Click on any workspace and go to the “personalize” icon. After that, click on the “personalize this form” option. To drag and drop workspaces or hide them, go for the personalization bar.

3. Pin A Tile

Want to pin a tile to the default dashboard? It’s never been easier. Open your workspace, right-click on any tile and click on “pin-to-dashboard”.

4. Access To Actions

You can also type the name of any action you intend to perform in the action search bar to select from the list. Easy and quick access to Actions. Shortcut to the action search bar is “Alt Q”.

5. Frequently Used Reports

Microsoft Dynamics 365 enables you to turn reports into dashboards. This way, you needn’t waste time surfing through reports tool for frequently used reports. Copy the URL of the required report.
Go to the edit screen available in the dashboard and pick a suitable dashboard and insert your report there in iFrame before saving the dashboard.

6. Store Items

Looking to increase the efficiency in operations? MD365 lets you manage your inventories with its warehouse feature. With this feature, you can coordinate product supply and customer demand and subsequently optimize your stock levels.

7. Pick & Unpick Items

Picked the wrong items against a production order? Don’t worry. This can now be fixed without any difficulty. MD365 simply lets you “stop and unpick” the items.
You needn’t waste time un-picking each item either! You can unpick all the items in one go.

8. One-stop for Enterprise/Company Level Information

You can manage one or many companies with Dynamics 365 and use different identifiers to obtain information about a unit.
For example, the product number provides a few aspects of the product at an enterprise-level, whereas the item number provides specific information about items at a company-level.
While Microsoft Dynamics 365 does make life easier, we’ve got something in the store that will simplify Data Migration and Data Management even more! Stay tuned for our upcoming release!
