It is true that Christmas is precious opportunity to go all decorating and enjoy the families time. Among the Christmas decorations, the Christmas tree decoration would come first. As we all know that we will hang heavy ornaments on the strongest branches and put the precious ornament at the top of the tree. However, we are always confused how to put on the light.

Choose the right size of the light

Actually, there are three basic sizes of bulbs for Christmas tree: the big bulbs and medium bulbs and mini lights. Every person needs different types and sizes of lights according to their need. Usually, majority of people choose the larger bulbs as outdoor christmas tree lights and small mini light for their inside tree. However, although it is not difficult to find the large bulbs, the wired strings are not available everywhere. And there are many choices in color for mini bulbs, white, green, orange and so on. It is so beautiful when the Christmas tree put on the colored bulbs.

Quantity of bulbs you need

Generally speaking, in order to have a best effect, we need 100 lights per vertical foot of tree. For example, a 4-foot tree should have 400 lights. But this is just for the mini lights. If the bulbs are led christmas tree lights, you might just need half the amount, because the light is much brighter than the ordinary bulbs. The larger C-7 bulbs are very bright, so 70 C-lights are good enough for an indoor 6-foot tree.

It is common that there are some bulbs are not workable when we purchased. Before you dress the Christmas tree with the light, you should make sure that all the cheap christmas lights are workable, because it is not easy to take off it and replace the new one. So just plug them first and replace the unlit bulbs.

When you start to help the tree put on the light cloth, you should start with the top decoration and wind the lights around the tree. In order to make the tree look perfect, you should hide the wire as best as you can in the tree. Although light decoration for Christmas tree is not easy and simple as we put on out clothes, it is very interesting and worthy job for the big festival.
