All the necessary documents have to be very mandatorily be provided by the coffee planter which includes the invoices, slip of the packing and the insurance certificate which are all necessary documents that should come with the consignment.

3. Once the consignment reaches to the exporter from the coffee grower, the exporter will be informed by the Customs department on the arrival of the consignment. The exporter on claiming the consignment has to necessarily produce all the necessary documents as discussed above which may lead them to the receipt of the exported consignment.

If the consignment which is exported is of a small value and if you just want to sell them in your own store after exporting, then it is wise to claim the consignment all by yourself without hiring a Customs broker. If the consignment which is exported is a large one and if you are planning to do business in multi level through distributors and retailers, in that case it is wise to hire a Customs agent who may help you in getting the consignment from the Custom department and smoothen the process.

5. Also make proper provisions for the transport to carry the exported consignment from the Custom station to your store or warehouse.
